i cant believe that i actually miss studying.
especially doing math and chemistry homework.
im feeling quite sad that ive forgotten much of the stuff ive learnt.
i also miss the times spent in school, both rv and jj.
and the journeys to school, listening to radio.
in huge contrast,
army life require so much less brain power.
and its really making me dumber.
urgh i want to go back to studying!
but yet again, i hear my peers in uni complaining that its tough...
hmm.. i guess human beings are never satisfied. |

like finally.
i get a proper weekend which includes BOTH saturday and sunday.
yayness i didnt get confined this weekend. or else it'd been another wasted weekend.
im looking forward to next week, cause its only a 3 day week! :D
thursday and friday's off in lieu. just very glad there's a little break ahead.
okay and so i realised its quite fun to talk to taxi uncles.
not because they talk alot of cock,
but because you dont know him and can smoke all you want :D
last night i was cabbing home after book out.
and the taxi driver thought (rightly so) that i was in the army. (cause i was carrying my field pack you see)
but feeling wacky, i told him i was a student and my cca was ncc.
the uncle was quite talkative so he started telling me that he's son is enlisting soon and that he is going to commando unit,
and then he started talking alot about army.
so i decided to smoke him that my brother is in the army and tell him nonsense about the army.
its really quite fun to bluff someone about stuff which you know ain't true. haha
the past week was kinda crazy.
9 hours of sleep for 3 days. totally wiped out. woots
anyway its just 63 more days to 2LT :D

it really sucks to lose somebody close to you.
true, of late, i havent been in constant contact with him.
but still, he's my dear granduncle, my one and only granduncle,
who doted on my mother when she was young,
who doted on me and my sister when we were young.
i still remember i used to visit him every friday in my childhood.
i just regret i havent seen him for the last time while he was in the hospital,
and that i couldnt visit him the other time.
my sadness inside cant be expressed by just typing on the keyboard.
this is life. chin up, live on. |

wah this week is unbelievably long!
tiring crew drills and late night trainings certainly were draining on the mind.
but somehow we all manage to survive each day.
2 SOCs this week were also physically tiring!
i am just glad its friday. :D
its also probably the first time i spent my birthday without my family or close friends.
the day was pretty normals, just another day in camp.
didnt really feel much,
didnt really bothered me even tough it was my birthday and im not enjoying myself.
a couple of my course mates wished me HAPPY BIRTHDAY, but that was about it.
until... i fell asleep at 2145.
then, while i was deep in slumber,
there was a turnout!
feeling frantic, as always when there is a turnout,
i rushed to change up and pack my field pack, while my 3 other crew mates were already in their long 4s.
i thought it was a real turnout until they ran to the stairs without their boots!
haha i looked like a total fool!
then they surprised me with a birthday cake, and a birthday song!
aww it was damn nice and sweet of them!
i was in total shock!
hahahahahaha! couldnt stop laughing and everyone were just hysterical.
its probably the most memorable birthday i ever had!
sometimes its just these small little things that can make me happy.
that night i slept with a HUGE smile on my face.
i love my course, and definitely my CREW :D
i want to thank 02/09 TOCC but i doubt anyone of you would read this.
also, dinner with celest today was fun as usual!
and our hth talk after dinner was great!
lost for words after reading the letter, but thank you very much okay dear celest! :D
and i want to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday, regardless beltaed or not!
late is always better than never!
and lastly, im getting confined tmr, but its okay!
